Rachel has in-depth experience with large-scale event management and logistics, having coordinated dozens of restaurant grand openings for multiple concepts across the country.
With dual degrees in political science and economics, Rachel is also knowledgeable on a wide range of policy issues. She specializes in forming nontraditional alliances between individuals, organizations and other stakeholders who share common goals. Rachel has nearly a decade of experience working some of the hardest and most high-profile legislative issues both on a national and state level.
Rachel has worked with companies ranging from local brands to Fortune 500 companies including: Amazon, Blaze Pizza, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, Pfizer, PhRMA, the Kentucky Medical Association, Shatterproof, Marsy’s Law for All, Guy Fieri’s Smokehouse and Yang Kee Noodle.
Before starting Paperboy Public Relations, Rachel worked at several public relations agencies in the Louisville area. She started her career at Peritus Public Relations where she learned how to manage large-scale issue advocacy campaigns and event planning. From there she moved on to B|K Public Affairs where she specialized in health care policy campaigns and finally she landed at RunSwitch Public Relations where she perfected the craft of restaurant grand openings and on-going brand building and awareness.
Rachel is a native Texan and a graduate of Bellarmine University in Louisville.
In 2016, Rachel won The Landmarks of Excellence Rising Star Award which recognizes young professionals in the fields of public relations and communications that are making significant contributions to the industry.
